15 Oz Peeled Italian Tomatoes, blended, (preferably strained)
2 tbsp Minced Spanish Onion
1 Tbsp grated carrot
1 Tbsp Olive oil
2 large Basil Leaves or 1 tsp of dry Basil Leaves
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
Heat Olive oil on Medium heat.
Sauté onions and carrots until onions are a light golden color.
Add blended tomatoes and put on high heat
Once tomatoes are boiling, reduce to low heat and add basil
Cover and allow sauce to cook for a minimum of 90 minutes (I cook mine for 3 hours). You can either cover or partially cover the sauce. Make sure to stir your sauce every 15 to 20 minutes and make sure nothing is sticking to the bottom on your pot and scorching.
